It's time for new clothes!

In this outfit i matched a pair of light grey trousers, with a striped cardigan and a pair of double monk grey shoes by Ducal.

to complete the look, my glasses (as usual), a brown leather wallet (by the Bridge) and my Timex ( whose strap recals the colours of the cardigan as you can see).

È tempo di nuovi vestiti!

In questo outfit, ho abbinato un paio di pantaloni grigio chiaro con un cardigan a strisce e un paio di Ducal a doppia fibbia effetto vintage.

A completare il look, un portafoglio the Bridge, un Timex (che riprende il cardigan) e i miei occhiali (come al solito).

An ordinary day in a cloudy Messina

Gentle readers,
although Spring is about to come, Messina is still cold and grey...
That is why I chose to wear a black and grey cardigan with a dark red paisley tie; these colors reflect the actual weather!
Anyway, I think that this city looks really charming with the typical light of a late afternoon day of May... What do you think?

Nonostante la primavera sia alle porte, Messina è ancora fredda e plumbea...
Per questo ho scelto di indossare un cardigan dai toni scuri con una cravatta Bordeaux a fantasia paisley, per riflettere i colori di questo tempo!
Ad ogni modo, penso che questa città sia molto affascinante sotto la tipica luce di un pomeriggio di marzo... Che ne dite?

Talking About Formal

Cari lettori, 

Oggi vi mostrerò il mio completo preferito: un Alessandrini occhio di pernice, perfetto per tutte le occasioni, dalle più sobrie e formali, alle più chic e mondane!

Il gilet doppiopetto, non fa parte del completo ed è un Gaetano Navarra, uno dei migliori stilisti siciliani di sempre.

Per finire, le scarpe sono un classico paio di Oxford testa di moro.

p.s. Date un'occhiata al tramonto meraviglioso alle mie spalle :)

Today I will show you my favorite suit:a salt and pepper pattern suit, made by Alessandrini, perfect for all occasions, from the most sober and formal, to the most chic and fashionable!

The double-breasted vest, is not part of the suit and it is made byGaetano Navarra, one of the best Sicilian designers ever.

Finally, the shoes are a classic pair of Oxford dark brown.

L'outfit di questi giorni si è basato su caldi abiti in lana capaci di mantenermi caldo. Ho deciso di utilizzare una cravatta grigio antracite a pois celesti che riprendono il colore delle righe della camicia. Ho pensato di abinare il tutto a un caldo cardigan grigio chiaro e a un pantalone dello stesso colore della cravatta. 

Come tocco finale ho deciso di usare il mio nuovo acquisto: le Gold Brothers a doppia fibia color testa di moro!

Hello everyone!

The outfits these days is based on warm wool dresses able to keep me warm. I decided to use a charcoal gray dot tie  that reflect the color of the lines of the shirt. I matched everything with a warm light gray cardigan and trousers of the same color of the tie .

As a final touch , I decided to use my new present: my dark brown Gold Brothers double buckle !

A trip through fabrics, part 1

Gentle readers, today we want to analyze two particularly sought tissues compared to traditional cotton and wool: are talking about linen and silk.

Gentili lettori, oggi desideriamo analizzare 2 tessuti particolarmente ricercati rispetto ai classici cotone e lana: stiamo parlando di lino  e seta.

1) Lino:  utilizzato nelle stagioni calde, primavera ed estate ma soprattutto in quest'ultima, perché capace di mantenere fresco chiunque lo indossi. Maggiormente usato per creare camicie e pantaloni per situazioni informali.

Flax: used in  spring and summer, but especially in the latter, because it can keep fresh whoever wears it. It is mostly used to create shirts and trousers for informal situations

2) Seta: Tessuto usato soprattutto in stagioni miti, autunno e primavera. Indicato per cravatte, ascot, foulard e papillon. Viene utilizzato soprattutto in situazioni formali perché capace di essere molto elegante. 

Silk: Fabric used especially in mild seasons, like fall and spring. Suitable for ties, ascot, scarves and bow ties. It is used mostly in formal situations because it can be very elegant.

Winter time, camel coloured time

Cari lettori, buongiorno!

Oggi io, Michelangelo, ho pensato di mostrarvi un po' il mio stile autunnale durante gli ultimi mesi del 2014. Durante una giornata fredda, ho pensato fosse perfetto indossare colori non troppo accesi come il marrone cammello dei pantaloni o il marrone sabbia del maglione. Oltre ad utilizzare questi due capi dal gusto classico, ho optato per indossare un papillon che riprendesse i colori dell'autunno.

Today  I (Michelangelo) thought I'd show you my typical autumn during the last months of 2014. On a cold day, I thought it was perfect to wear not too bright colors like brown camel trousers  or sandy brown sweater.  I also opted to wear a bow tie that could regain the typical autumn colours.

Good Morning everybody from Sicilian Fashion Secrets!

Today it's Michelangelo, to introduce himself.

I tend to dress in a classic way, but I love the new chromatic tones, the essential shapes and at the same time innovative.

I prefer the traditional accessories like ties and bow ties, as I consider both very elegant and refined.

After this brief introduction of myself (of course there will be many occasions to know me better thanks to the blog), i wait for you until next post.

Sono tendenzialmente classico nel vestire, ma amo le novità cromatiche, le linee essenziali e nello stesso tempo innovative. 

Prediligo gli accessori tradizionali come cravatta e papillon, in quanto considero entrambi molto eleganti e raffinati. 

Dopo essermi presentato (ovviamente ci sarà modo di conoscermi meglio durante l'andamento del blog),vi dò appuntamento a breve.

Buongiorno a tutti da Sicilian Fashion Secrets!
Oggi, come da titolo,  sarò io, Ferdinando, a presentarmi.
Amo la moda classica rivisitata, fatta da fantasie come il principe di Galles e il paisley, con toni cromatici più accesi; per quanto riguarda le forme, non disdegno la vestibilità classica dei capi, anche se, presento una tendenza per le forme più strette e attillate.
Parlando degli accessori, non ho preferenze tra cravatta e papillon, in quanto considero entrambi eleganti, anche se il vero tocco di stile, è,  secondo me, rappresentato dall'ascot, accessorio raro, ma molto chic.
Dopo questa ampia panoramica su di me ( ci sarà occasione di conoscermi meglio attraverso i posts), è tempo di salutarvi e di darvi appuntamento a breve.

Hello everyone from Sicilian Fashion Secrets!
Today, as the title says, will be me, Ferdinando, to introduce myself.
I love classic fashion revised, made by patterns as the Prince of Wales and the paisley, with brighter chromatic tones; analyzing the shapes, I do not dislike the regular fit of the garments, even if, i have a tendency for the tighter forms.
Speaking of accessories, I have no preference between tie and bow tie, because I consider both elegant, although the real touch of style, is, to me, represented by the cravat, rare, but very chic.
After this broad overview on me (there will be opportunity to know me better through the posts),
it is time to salute you and to adjourn the blog in a couple of days.
