Sta arrivando la primavera e si sta avvicinando la settimana a New York. Sono felicissimo! 

Inoltre, sto incominciando a fumare il sigaro, elemento di classe che mi distingue dalla comunità di fumatori accanititi di sigarette. 

Oggi ho scelto un outfit non troppo elaborato, ma con qualche tocco di stile come l'ascot. Quest'ultimo è stato utilizzato come fosse una cravatta che riprende i colori del giaccone e delle polacche bordeaux. Spero vi piaccia,

Dear readers,

Spring and New York's week are coming. I'm very glad about it!

Besides, I started to smoke cigar, classy item that distinguishes me from the comunity of heavy smokers of cigarettes.

Today I've chosen a simple outfit, but with some touch of style such as the cravat.

This is been used as a tie that recalls the colours of the coat and of the bordeaux shoes. I wish you like it!

Talking About Formal

Cari lettori, 

Oggi vi mostrerò il mio completo preferito: un Alessandrini occhio di pernice, perfetto per tutte le occasioni, dalle più sobrie e formali, alle più chic e mondane!

Il gilet doppiopetto, non fa parte del completo ed è un Gaetano Navarra, uno dei migliori stilisti siciliani di sempre.

Per finire, le scarpe sono un classico paio di Oxford testa di moro.

Today I will show you my favorite suit:a salt and pepper pattern suit, made by Alessandrini, perfect for all occasions, from the most sober and formal, to the most chic and fashionable!

The double-breasted vest, is not part of the suit and it is made byGaetano Navarra, one of the best Sicilian designers ever.

Finally, the shoes are a classic pair of Oxford dark brown.

L'outfit di questi giorni si è basato su caldi abiti in lana capaci di mantenermi caldo. Ho deciso di utilizzare una cravatta grigio antracite a pois celesti che riprendono il colore delle righe della camicia. Ho pensato di abinare il tutto a un caldo cardigan grigio chiaro e a un pantalone dello stesso colore della cravatta. 

Come tocco finale ho deciso di usare il mio nuovo acquisto: le Gold Brothers a doppia fibia color testa di moro!

Hello everyone!

The outfits these days is based on warm wool dresses able to keep me warm. I decided to use a charcoal gray dot tie  that reflect the color of the lines of the shirt. I matched everything with a warm light gray cardigan and trousers of the same color of the tie .

As a final touch , I decided to use my new present: my dark brown Gold Brothers double buckle !

The look of today is based on a vintage printed flowered pattern tie, knotted with a classic Windsor knot and accompanied with a light blue shirt used to bring out the tie colours.
The gray jacket plaid red, is the ad hoc piece to complete the outfit.

A trip through fabrics, part 1

Gentle readers, today we want to analyze two particularly sought tissues compared to traditional cotton and wool: are talking about linen and silk.

Gentili lettori, oggi desideriamo analizzare 2 tessuti particolarmente ricercati rispetto ai classici cotone e lana: stiamo parlando di lino  e seta.

1) Lino:  utilizzato nelle stagioni calde, primavera ed estate ma soprattutto in quest'ultima, perché capace di mantenere fresco chiunque lo indossi. Maggiormente usato per creare camicie e pantaloni per situazioni informali.

Flax: used in  spring and summer, but especially in the latter, because it can keep fresh whoever wears it. It is mostly used to create shirts and trousers for informal situations

2) Seta: Tessuto usato soprattutto in stagioni miti, autunno e primavera. Indicato per cravatte, ascot, foulard e papillon. Viene utilizzato soprattutto in situazioni formali perché capace di essere molto elegante. 

Silk: Fabric used especially in mild seasons, like fall and spring. Suitable for ties, ascot, scarves and bow ties. It is used mostly in formal situations because it can be very elegant.

A Green Neck

Finally  the new year started and we are starting to be cold that's why  Today I chose to wear green as the main color combined with a dark blue blazer and a light blue sunglasses.

Finalmente è cominciato l'anno nuovo e a dire il vero il freddo inizia a farsi sentire... Oggi ho scelto di indossare il verde come colore principale abbinato ad un blu scuro del blazer e a un paio di occhiali da sole chiari.

A Little Trip in Österreich...

Dear readers , Good Morning from SFS and particularly from Ferdinando !                         In the past days , to conclude  appropriately this holiday period, I decided to spend a couple of days in the elegant cities of Vienna and Salzburg , the first is full of shops , monuments and it's characterised by the typical organization of the European capitals ; the other one, is a real fairy-tale landscape , with castles , frozen lakes and small streets between the imposing ancient buildings .
The clothing of course included scarves and pashminas, heavy coats against the cold, but especially , leather and lined gloves.
Tip : go visit " Wilhelm Jungmann & Neffe " one of the best Viennese boutiques for fashion , whose paisley patterns are symbols of  elegance and vivacity ; the perfect touch to give color to your outfits.                                                                                     

Cari lettori, Buon Giorno da SFS e da Ferdinando!

Negli scorsi giorni, per concludere al meglio questo periodo di vacanza, ho pensato di passare un paio di giorni nelle eleganti città di Vienna e Salisburgo, la prima, ricca di negozi, di monumenti e di quella organizzazione propria delle capitali europee; l'altra invece, è un vero e proprio paesaggio fiabesco, con castelli, laghi ghiacciati e piccole vie tra gli imponenti palazzi antichi.

L'abbigliamento ovviamente prevedeva sciarpe e pashmine, ma soprattutto pesanti cappotti per proteggersi dal freddo, per non parlare dei guanti, in pelle e rigorosamente foderati.
